Thanks Antiq to start this. So sorry I have missed this.
Didn't pay much attention to the west kaki session in the past.
May be next time then.

Emm I suggest you can join any session in the east. They are generally quite friendly. :)

The few places would be 5T at tampines, AVCC at Sengkang etc. Can pick up a few pointers or so. I'm playing at AVCC on tuesday. If you want, you can pay a visit next tuesday and I see what I can do. :)

Oh btw, don't worry too much. I was a true beginner just 3 years ago. Totally no background whatsoever.

this is only true when u have reach your current level.
before that i think u do struggle during the beginner stage.
it dont seen like a sport that u enjoy a lot from it.

only when u play more and got good basic then u started to enjoy.

Yeah I'm the spectacle wearing shakehand player that you've sparred today. Lol.

Actually I wanted to talk to you just now since you are from PRSS. Thinking of holding a small competition between the schools at AVCC next tuesday. Just a few ppl (about 3) from each school will do. :)

3year old beginner o.o I'm a one year old beginner haha. I've never played in a competition anyway so it'll be a good experience. Prss don't have many good players, honestly. The competition only got singles and doubles? Cause if singles, i can only think of 2 other ppl from my school as the sec 4 players have retired. What school are we playing against? And when is it?

Competition is not about competing only, it is also chance to
see how other players perform.
Can be a 'target' which push ownself to prepare n training better.
At the same , passion to tt will increase.
Since this a team competition, understanding between own players will also
increase.
Negative point is u or your teamate may take the result too serious n cannot
move forward.
