My team will play in mid June. We can afford to lose that match (which we expect to lose!) & still qualify for the S'pore Games. Life is unfair! tongue laugh

IMO To say Life is unfair is a general statement .
being born with a golden spoon and being born out of wedlock or in poverty is unfairness . Something that we have to learn to accept .....

BUT ....
if we know that the rules have been abused or taken advantage of , it means the governing policy has loop holes that need to be plugged and put into perspective .
This unfairness should and can be corrected .

Is it fair to say it's always the government's fault? LOL I'm so obsessed with the "government's fault" nonsense! tongue laugh

By the way are we allowed to change a few players in the current team (Community Games) if our team qualified for the S'pore National Games? Does anyone know anything about this?

Congrats! I'll see you at the SNG even though my team has yet to play a single match in the CG! Happy

chinguanwei wrote:i dont think so. tamp central cc cant form a TT team due to not enough players...

The CC should organise something like a weekly tt session so they can attract more players there.

Yes I've been accepted to represent their cheerleading team. Shocked laugh

Has any team got any problem with players sulking over not playing in the CG? You know like they expect their names to be in the 'starting line-up' but instead they are just good enough for the bench. tongue
Just asking out of curiosity.

Lucky no such behaviour from our team...

Sometime it is good that you don't have too many reserve...lol

Feel that as a team member, should just leave it to the team manager to plan.

this will happen when more than enough players in each team or the 'starting line up' players are too strong for the bench players to replace.
sometime it is also depend on the opponent standard.
if opponent is too weak or too strong, the leader can let those 'bench players' a try. i try this formula during last year CC competition and all players have a chance or two or more to play.
i feel it is negative to set a strongest "line up" for all matches which at the end of the game it only divide the players amount the same team.
it also depending on the objective of each team eg - winning is about everything or just go there for fun.

I think players need to be really honest with gauging their ability against the other players & must know their roles in the team. Sometimes people are confident which is a very good thing & they believe in their ability although they aren't as good as they think.

By the way has anyone read anything about the Community Games on Lianhe Zaobao these past few days?

i think this is a communication problem.
explain to your CC's in-charge and try to join them next tt session.
nowsaday it is very hard to get a team.
it is very common to walk over 1or 2 points.
All the result is greatly depend on the whole team effort ,not just 1 single or 1 double.

Anyone know the China woman from NTU player for West Coast GRC (Suns Sports)... she damn pro and I heardly think even a male player can beat her...
*hint : Big Size China Woman studying in NTU (china province player)

I hope someone could complain about them !!
There is no sporting spirit liao like dat..

They have one particular China Woman (big size , manly built) that are above the rest and I think her standard are at least China's provincial player level !!! (West Coast sunsports).

Anyway, my wife team beat them last night (3-1) anyway, although that China "giant" woman win one match for them..

sushi wrote:
have checked fixtures and found there were quite a number of " PRIVATE " Teams out there this year ....particularly from " SUNSPORTS TEAM " ... they seem quite adament and aggressive sending more than 3 teams to participate in this competition ....

also heard from some reliable sources , the team "borrowed" players from outside their designated clusters ....thru
" changing address " ....something i found non sportsmanship ....

Some CSC managers said they would lodge protest ...
