Hi everyone!

I am Nat, 27 years old and new member to the forum. Recently picked up ping pong again after many years (used to play for fun in Pri sch).

I was hoping to train and improve my game on the weekends but have no buddy currently. Does anyone know where I could rent a table with robot to practise my drills or a club where I could join to meet sparring partners?

Saw some posts on Happy Table Tennis Club and Copytron, do you know if I could just turn up and find someone to play with or do these places rent out tables with robots?

Any guidance would be much appreciated, thanks buddies!

Btw I live in AMK, so anyone nearby who is keen to play on weekends could PM me too!

Cheers,
Nat

hi ntee87,

Nice to know u r trying to develop ur game again. Copytron is a gd place to go on weekends. I go there most weekends n they have recently renovated the place, bigger now more tables (more  than 12) & everyone has a certain playing standard there (make gd sparring partners).

Once there, dont be shy to ask anyone who is free to play. no hard and fast rule you can either train with them or play a match. They have no lack of people there n players constantly rotate to play agst each other. The fee is $25 a mth (unlimited play) or much less per mth if u pay by year.

The address is no 9 eunos ave 8A copytron building s409461 tel: 92379445/92200959

Hope you have a great time!
Cheers

Hi Carljoey2003,

The closest place within my knowledge that I can suggest is Bukit Panjang CC. I have attended their (am) sessions but understand that higher quality of play during (pm) sessions. Overall, very vibrant group of passionate table tennis players, gd place  to start.

Session Timings
(AM): Tues, Wed, Thu, Fri (9am-1pm)
(PM): Mon, Tue, Thu (7pm-10pm)

I also saw from your other post, you r trying to connect to filipino community? I know of a very gd filipino player who trains with other fellow filipinos. Perhaps u can pm me your contact no privately and I get him to contact you?

Hope you have gd start in your table tennis journey!

Cheers
